Teriyaki BBQ Sauce

A sweet and savory barbecue sauce perfect for brushing on grilled chicken or pork.
Ingredients
- 1 cup light soy sauce
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp onion powder
- 1 1/2 tbsp prepared mustard
- 2 tsp mesquite smoke sauce
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice

Method
Place all ingredients in a sauce pan, except corn starch and pineapple juice. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to medium. Simmer for 30-35 minute. Mix the cornstarch and pineapple juice and add to sauce, then remove from heat. Return to heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Good with chicken and pork.
