Tandoori Shrimp

Jumbo shrimp are marinated in a flavorful yogurt mixture of tandoori powder, chili powder, coriander, turmeric, and garlic & ginger paste before grilling.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. peeled and deveined Jumbo shrimp
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Tandoori powder
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground Turmeric
  • 1 tsp ground Coriander
  • 1 tsp Garlic and ginger paste
  • 2 tbsp. Olive oil

Method

Mix together yogurt, salt, tandoori powder, chili powder, coriander powder, garlic & ginger paste, olive oil and turmeric powder. Then stir shrimp into the yogurt mixture; cover and marinate in refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight. Lift shrimp from mixture and grill the shrimp until done. Discard marinating mixture.
