Rob's Smoked Sausage

Chunks of smoked sausage, hot and sweet peppers and onion are combined with a mixture of sweet-sour sauce and red hot sauce in a foil packet, and cooked on the grill.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. smoked sausage link
  • 3 jalapeno peppers, stemmed and seeded, if desired
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 sweet onion
  • 1 homemade foil bag
  • 1/4 cup Franks bottled red hot sauce
  • 1 10-ounce jar sweet-and-sour sauce

Method

Cut sausage, peppers, onion into bite size chunks and put into foil bag. Mix the hot sauce and sweet-sour sauce in a bowl and pour over top; seal bag well. Put on grill for 40 minutes; turn every 10 minutes. Serve right out of bag.

 

Notes: This is great as an appetizer or main dish. To serve, use small skewers to spear the items or load onto crusty bread.
