
A vinegar based barbeque sauce recipe with tomatoes, peppers, and onions that gets better the longer it simmers.
Open whole tomatoes and pour contents into a blender adding onions and bell pepper. Run blender on high to liquefy. Pour contents through a strainer while pouring into a large pot (to remove tomato seeds). Add all ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce to a low heat and let simmer 1 1/2 hours.
Notes:
* These ingredients you can add to or reduced to fit your taste. I use hickory or mesquite, and sometimes will mix the 2 together.
