Strips of pork loin are marinated in a mixture of soy sauce, oil, and honey-garlic sauce, then threaded onto skewers and grilled, brushing with barbecue sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. pork loin
  • 1/2 cup light soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper
  • 1/4 cup honey-garlic sauce
  • bamboo skewers
  • BBQ sauce

Method

Slice the pork loin thinly. Combine soy sauce, oil, garlic salt, pepper and honey-garlic sauce. Add pork and marinate for 4 to 6 hours. Soak skewers in water at the same time you are marinating your meat. Discard marinade. Put 3 or 4 pieces of meat on the skewer (depending how long the slices are). Cook on medium to high on the bbq until done. Apply bbq sauce and flip once or twice to cook the sauce.

Notes: I prefer to use Diana's brand of honey-garlic sauce.

Number of Servings: 8-10 people
