Kids' Choice BBQ Franks

Your kids will love these hot dogs stuffed with cheese, wrapped in bacon, grilled and served on buns.
Ingredients
- 8 jumbo franks, slit lengthwise but not cut through
- 1 up 1/2 inch cubes Monterey Jack cheese, or kids' favorite cheese
- 8 strips bacon
- 1 half cup ketchup
- 8 large hot dog buns

Method
Insert cubes of cheese into slits in franks. Wrap each frank with one strip of bacon. Secure with toothpicks. Brush with ketchup. Grill on each side, turning once, until bacon is cooked. Brush again with ketchup. Remove toothpicks and serve right away on toasted buns.
Notes: Kids enjoy this special treat prepared just for them. In our family adults like these barbecued franks, too.
