Jalapeno Veggie Burger

These burgers have the heat of jalapeno and the protein of black and white beans. With tons of veggies and seasonings, these burgers are good.
Ingredients
- Vegetable mixture:
- 2 teaspoons diced jalapeno pepper
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 3 tablespoons diced black olives
- 4 tablespoons roasted red bell peppers, drained and diced
- 4 tablespoons artichoke hearts, drained and diced
- 3 tablespoons banana peppers, drained and diced
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 3/4 cup black beans, drained
- 1 cup white beans, drained
- 1 cup chickpeas, drained
- Dry mixture:
- 1/2 teaspoon ground sage
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 3/4 teaspoon celery salt
- 3/4 teaspoon paprika
- 3/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 1/2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 4 tablespoons seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- Other:
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 4 cups Boston lettuce: washed, dried, and torn into bite sized pieces
- Chipotle Lime Cream:
- 5 ounces cream cheese
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Miracle Whip salad dressing
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sour cream
- 1 1/2 tablespoon chopped cilantro
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes cut into slivers
- 1/4 teaspoon chipotle chili powder or to taste
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 teaspoons fresh lime juice
- Zest of 1 lime
- Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
- 6 focaccia or kaiser buns, split

Method
Wipe grill with vegetable oil and heat to medium. In a large mixing bowl, combine all vegetable mixture together. Stir until blended, add all ingredients for dry mixture, and eggs, then mix until blended. Make 6 round patties, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare chipotle lime cream. In a small mixing bowl, place cream cheese, Miracle Whip and sour cream. Mix until well blended. Add remaining ingredients, stir until well blended, add salt and pepper to taste then set aside. Grill patties 5-8 minutes or until done, turning once. When burgers are almost finished, place buns on grill, flat side down, just until golden brown. Set buns on 6 plates, spread chipotle lime cream evenly on flat sides of buns, then divide salad greens, place burgers on and close sandwich.
