
Brats are basted with a Dijon, honey, mayonnaise and steak sauce mixture as they cook on the grill. They are served with green beans grilled with toasted sesame oil and seeds, and soy sauce.
Preheat the grill for medium heat. In a shallow bowl, mix the mustard, honey, mayonnaise, and steak sauce. Set aside.
For Green Beans:
In a bowl, whisk together the oil, soy sauce and sugar; rinse the beans in a colander and shake off excess water. Place a large sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil on the work surface. Mound the green beans in the center. Bring the sides of the foil up. Drizzle with sesame-soy mixture, sprinkle with the sesame seeds and toss lightly to coat.
Bring the foil up and over the beans to form a loose packet. Fold the edges together and seal, leaving room for steam. Place on the grill over indirect heat. Cover grill and cook until crisp-tender, 25 to 30 minutes, turning once.
Lightly oil the grill over direct heat, add bratwursts and grill for 18 to 20 minutes, basting during the last 10 minutes with the honey-mustard sauce and turning to brown evenly.
