Chutney-Turkey Burgers

These healthy turkey burgers have the additional flavoring of peach chutney to add a little kick.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground turkey breast
  • 2 tbsp red onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh Italian parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic, chopped
  • 1 tbsp house seasoning (3 tbsp each paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, Cajun seasoning)
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 whole wheat hamburger buns
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup peach chutney
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato

Method

In a large mixing bowl, combine first 6 ingredients just enough to distribute ingredients evenly. Form into 4 patties that are larger than the buns you will use. Prepare grill to medium-high heat. Cook burgers 15 minutes, turning once. Place a piece of Swiss cheese on each burger and leave on grill just to melt cheese. Mix together mustard and chutney. Spread on top half of each bun and then add other condiments.
