Method

Light or turn on your BBQ. Place clean turkey into a roasting pan. Pour water, honey and garlic into the cavity of the bird. Sprinkle the outside of bird with seasoned salt. Cover with foil. Put thermometer in the bird to check doneness. Place in covered BBQ grill. Check after 2 hour. Cook until done.

Notes: It is hot in the summer so do the cooking outdoors. On the BBQ you may want to use a disposable pan for easier clean-up. If you want to make gravy, add water to the roasting pan to keep it from burning. Use drippings in place of water in gravy recipe. No drippings Gravy: 3 cups chicken broth, 1 TSP Garlic, 1 TSP honey, 2 TBSP Gravy Master or Kitchen bouquet, 2 TBSP Corn Starch. In saucepan combine all and bring to boil; serve hot with Turkey and rice or Potatoes. A spicy season salt adds a great kick and completments the sweet of the honey. For side dish, Add a TSP of honey to rice or potatoes.

Number of Servings: 6 (and some for sandwiches)
